when u bought the v1.5 u should have known the deficiencies. vivid make bigger speakers with more drivers to cover the entire audio spectrum. in other words, a 3-4 way will fundamentally cover better than a 2 way.
v1.5 is designed for small rooms. only if your room size is big enough then u get bigger speakers or add subwoofers. how to integrate a separate sub with main speakers there are a lot of knowledge and techniques to be acquired.

they are stackable. so each side u can have 3 with total 6 x 12,000. not much just usd 72,000. u also need amps to drive them. lol

I mentioned previously that bass is not the strength of v1.5 doesn't mean it lacks of bass. In fact it's performance in low frequency is out of my expectations from a small spk box. I guess it will improve with suitable cables. Of course a good subwoofer will do.

If you like silver, try crystal, they match nicely. Adding a music subwoofer not those av ones, is a major improvement.

just borrow some cables from your friends and experiment.
u may find copper or copper/silver cables will give a more balanced sound.
also if u stick with integrated amp may be u try gryphon diablo instead of the ml 383.
another way is to add a pair of subwoofers.

V1.5, an expensive spk, I have finally made a painful decision that to sell my B&W 804s and gave a try to this weird spk. Woo!!! even they just run-in for 30hrs, they easily k.o. the 804s.They sound open, fast, clean, yet musical. Though bass is not its strength, they do quite a good job when placing close to wall. No regret to invest on these babies. I am sure even 804D is not their competitor. I pair them up with Mark Levision 383 integrated amp. and Ensemble Dirondo CDP. All interconnects and spk cablea are Audio Note silver products. I am sure my next target will be their upper mode B1, if I am ample money and with permission from my dearest wife.

I think it's very hard to tell whether it can be driven by class A?! It would be easier if you've target the amp, knowing the output power etc....

Anyone tried to compliment the Vivid v1.5 with a subwoofer?
I am using V1.5 and adding a subwoofer (music type, not AV type) improves the overall musical quality a lot.
